Explosives seized from quarry worker's house

(Gadag (Karna), India)  --   Explosives including 235 gelatin sticks, were seized from the house of a quarry worker during a raid in the district today, police said.

 

Besides the gelatin sticks, 24 bundles of detonators were also recovered from the house located in Parasapur village in Shirahatti taluk, the police said, adding the worker, Kallappa Iligera, is absconding.
