Apr, 16 2012
(UK) -- Coatbridge-based Scotia Plant Ltd, the authorised dealer for both the Doosan and Bobcat ranges of equipment in the central belt of Scotland, will be exhibiting products from both brands at the ScotPlant 2012 Exhibition at Ingliston near Edinburgh in Scotland from 27-28 April 2012.
Scotia Plant will be displaying products representative of the Doosan range, which comprises crawler and wheeled excavators from 14 to 70 tonne; wheel loaders covering bucket capacities from 1.9 to 5.5 m3; articulated dump trucks with payloads from 24 to 40 tonne and heavy lift telehandlers offering capacities from 7 to 21 tonne and lift heights up to 10 m. The Doosan range is ideal for many of the important markets in Scotland, including civil engineering, roads, house building, plant hire, utilities, quarry operations, demolition, recycling, waste handling, local authorities and general industry.
This will be complemented by a display of products from the renowned Bobcat range of compact equipment which includes wheeled and tracked compact loaders, mini-excavators and industrial and agricultural telehandlers. There are also more than 70 specialised attachments for the Bobcat loader, excavator and telescopic handler ranges, from hydraulic breakers, crushers and planers and other construction and demolition attachments to scarifiers, graders, flail mowers, stump grinders and woodchippers for turf and forestry work.
Since its launch in 1998, ScotPlant has established itself as the leading construction equipment exhibition in Scotland. The timing of the show has proved popular with visitors and the organisers are hoping for even higher attendance figures than the 4,000 plus visitors who came to the show in 2010.
