Jack B. Parson Companies wins seven Excellence in Concrete Awards

(Ogden, Utah) -- The Intermountain Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) recently recognized 22 different projects across the state for Excellence in Concrete. Jack B. Parson Companies (JBP) was recognized as the concrete supplier for seven of the winning projects, including Jury’s Choice for the structure and paving of the Natural History Museum of Utah at the Rio Tinto Center.
JBP also received awards for the following projects ranging from commercial and public works to residential and educational structures:
- City Creek Center Retail Development – Block 75
- Merit Medical Parking Structure
- The Regent Condominium Tower at City Creek
- Dimple Dell Park Tunnel – 1300 East Improvement Project
- Centerville Debris Basin Dam
- Ogden High School Auditorium Historic Restoration

The ACI is an international organization that established the Excellence in Concrete awards to recognize the outstanding innovative and aesthetic uses of concrete. Projects are judged by an independent panel picked from leaders in the construction, engineering, architectural and academia communities.
