Saudi Tabuk Cement to add production line

(Saudi Arabia) -- The management board of Saudi cement producer Tabuk Cement Company approved at a meeting yesterday an expansion project for the installation of a second production line with a daily capacity of 5,000 tonnes.
The project will also include the construction of power generation unit to meet the power needs of the new production line.
TCC registered an increase in net profit to SAR49.2m (US$13.1m) for the first quarter of 2012 from SAR41.2m. The company attributed the higher profits to a rise in cement sales.
