Belarusian Cement Plant commissions new cement milling shop in Kostyukovichi

(China) -- OAO Belarusian Cement Plant has commissioned a new cement milling shop in the town of Kostyukovichi.
The mill is an outcome of the joint work of Belarusian and Chinese specialists.
Hong Bo, Chairwoman of the Board of the Chinese company Citic Construction, said, “I am proud of what the efforts of the two sides have achieved. It is a vivid example of successful economy and trade cooperation between China and Belarus that proves that we have great prospects”.
The third startup complex of the new cement manufacturing line has been commissioned. The line will use a dry manufacturing method to make up to 1.8 million tonnes of cement per annum.
Director of OAO Belarusian Cement Plant Vladimir Kiselev said that the company will launch another cement manufacturing line in July 2012. It also plans to raise cement output up to 3 million tonnes per annum.
With an increase in its cement output, the company hopes to resolve the problem of cement deficit in country, increase cement export and open up new prospects for the development of the company.
The new line has already manufactured and shipped 120 tonnes of cement to OAO Gomelpromstroy, the general contractor of the project’s construction.
