(The Dominican Republic) -- Cemex announced the winners of its competition "Cemex Building Award Dominican Republic " last week, and will represent the country in its international phase in Mexico. They’ll also be included in the company’s global book.
Started as a national award in Mexico 21 years ago, today the prize recognizes the best works built by the multinational company's customers.
In its eighth consecutive year Cemex executives hosted the event held in the Palace of Fine Arts, with the Residential category going to Villa Marina at Cap Cana, by Infinity Developers; the "Institutional-Industrial" category award went to the food court Núñez de Caceres, of the builder EEC, and the El Rio-Jarabacoa road, by the company Odebrecht, was selected for "infrastructure."
The event also featured the presentation "Recognition Titan" to reward customer loyalty with growth in the volume of cement purchases.
