New route planned for Lafarge trucks in Whitehall
Jun, 15 2012
(UK) -- Whitehall Commissioners on Monday, June 11 are slated to approve a new route for Lafarge trucks, driving from a quarry located on South Church Street back to a limestone plant Monday.
The route is intended to eliminate truck traffic caused by construction on MacArthur Road.
If the board approves the route, trucks would be able bypass MacArthur Road by crossing Chestnut Street to get onto South Church Street during construction hours, Hozza said. Construction lasts from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and is expected to be completed by December 2013
