(Oklahoma) -- A Quinton man driving a concrete truck was killed in a rollover wreck Monday morning in Haskell County, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The 2005 Sterling LT8 truck’s driver, Roy Roberts, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple injuries.
The report states Roberts was traveling northbound on Oklahoma 71 when the truck drove off the right side of the roadway and rolled onto the driver’s side at around 9:30 a.m. approximately 3 1/2 miles north of Enterprise.
The reason why Roberts drove off the road is unknown. He was pinned in the truck for an hour and 15 minutes before he could be removed. Roberts was not wearing a seat belt, and the truck did not have an airbag, the report said.
