4-yr-old dies after being hit by concrete mixer

(India) -- A four-year-old girl died after being hit by a concrete mixer on Maharashi Karve Marg at Marine Lines in Mumbai, India on Monday afternoon.
The driver of the concrete mixer, Sanjay Premlal Dahaye, has been arrested.
The incident occurred when the child, Kavya Hemant Benani, was returning home from school with her mother.
The concrete mixer hit the child when she was crossing the road with her mother. The police said the child’s mother was a few steps ahead of the child when a concrete mixer hit the child. Though the vehicle was moving at 20 kmph, it hit Kavya on her head, throwing her to the ground.
The child was rushed to Bombay Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
"We have booked the driver for rash and negligent driving," said senior inspector of Azad Maidan police station Deepak Dhole.
Kavya's body has been handed over to her parents, after autopsy at G T Hospital.
