Putzmeister buys concrete mixer manufacturer Intermix
Aug, 03 2012
Concrete pumps manufacturer, Putzmeister Holding, has acquired Intermix, a move that it says strengthens its market position and expands its product line to include additional construction machinery.
“This acquisition rounds out our portfolio perfectly,” says Norbert Scheuch, CEO of Putzmeister Holding.
In March, 2012, Putzmeister was acquired earlier this by Chinese group Sany.
Intermix, was founded in 1984 by Hans-Georg Stetter, son of truck mixer pioneer Georg Stetter, and it has developed into one of Europe's leading manufacturers of truck mixers and special mixers.
The company's customer service and logistics centre for the delivery of the machines is at its headquarters in Heimertingen, near Memmingen in southern Germany.
Intermix produces and supplies up to 800 machines to end users and distributors each year.
