Concrete specialties wins bid for C.R. 40 bridge

(Sterling, Colorado) -- The Logan County Commissioners awarded a bid for the construction contract for Bridge Structure LOG 40-47.4-118, located on County Road 40 approximately 0.3 miles east of U.S. Highway 138, at their meeting on Tuesday.
Concrete Specialties and Utilities Construction Inc., of Sterling, received the project with a bid of $174,087.35 following a recommendation from the Road and Bridge department.
There were two other bids, for $234,770.20, from Colorado Constructors Inc., of Denver and $183,126 from Yost Construction, of Sterling.
