RAS-Tech obtains financing

Aug, 14 2012

(Brentwood)  --  The Northeast Angels Investment Group based in Milford this week announced closing on a round of equity financing with RAS-Tech of Brentwood.

RAS-Tech, an acronym for Recycled Asphalt Shingles Technology, has developed a proprietary process that can be used to effectively recover asphalt from scrap roofing shingles. This recovered asphalt can be used to produce new shingles or other asphalt-based products such as crack filler, cold patch, roofing cement, roof boards and pavement enhancer. RAS-Tech already has a contract to provide a major U.S. roofing manufacturer with its recovered asphalt material that is used to produce a water and ice seal product for commercial roofing. The new capital will fund future operations and product line additions. For information, visit www.ras-tech.com.
