Holcim distributes interim dividends worth IDR 32 per share

(Jakarta) -- PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk (SMCB) will distribute interim dividends worth IDR 32 per share in next September.

Holcim Indonesia Corporate Communications Manager Diah Sasanawati, as quoted by Bisnis Indonesia, confirmed that the company would distribute interim dividends worth a total of IDR 245.21 billion for 7.66 billion shares units. To distribute the dividends, the company will use its net profit obtained in the first semester of 2012.

Sasanawati, however, declined to mention the company’s profit and its performance in the first semester of 2012, saying that the report was still being finalized. Holcim Indonesia will publish its first semester financial statement this month.

She also declined to reveal the company’s realized sales volume in the first semester of 2012. The Indonesia Cement Association earlier estimated that the company’s sales volume equaled 4.06 million tons, up 16.67% year-on-year.
