CEMEX nets construction loans for 2 wind projects

(California) -- Global building materials manufacturer CEMEX has closed two separate construction loans for two California wind energy projects, according to Seminole Financial Services.
According to Seminole, CEMEX obtained a $7.25 million construction loan for the 3 MW Black Mountain Quarry Wind project and a $7 million construction loan for the 3.2 MW River Plant Wind project. Both projects are located in Victorville, Calif., and feature turbines from GE Energy.
Seminole, which focuses on projects ranging from $2 million to $30 million, the 14 construction loans the company has arranged in 2012 already surpass last year's total.
