Heading: 1.1Superplasticiser and Fly Ash
Regarding the dose of superplasticiser to achieve a particular target slump; does the dose vary significantly depending on the replacement of OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) with Fly Ash? Does the Superplasticiser only effect the OPC component? If so, should the dose of Superplasticiser be based on the OPC component alone or the total cementitious.

Superplasticizers or High Range Water Reducers work on fine particles such as cement, slag, flyash, silica fume, etc. therefore you should dose total cementitious material content, not just the cement portion.
