Manage all aspects of projects throughout the project lifecycle, including the management of project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change. Interface and communicate with all areas affected by the project, including end users, vendors and implementation partners. Provide project reporting and management reporting as required. Lead multiple large unrelated projects and promote projects and project management process throughout the organization. Establish, implement, and refine best practices for project management throughout the organization. Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements are met. Participate in the negotiation of contracts including, SOWs, vendor selection and vendor management. Build and maintain strong internal relationships with IT and business executives, officers, managers, and peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor�s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
- PMP certification required
- 7 + years of experience managing IT-related projects
- Thorough working knowledge of project management process, methodologies, PMBOK and SDLC and experience in their application to technology projects
- Familiar with PMIs Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
- Solid leadership skills; ability to effectively facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
