Summary of Responsibilities
Tack welders are responsible for tack welding cages together. Able to work at a fast pace to keep up with production targets. A high level of safety procedures will be used at all times.
Major Responsibilities

Operate equipment safely and use safe work habits.

Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors

Work with supervisor on setting daily production targets

Inspect welding machines prior to use

Operate welding equipment to product cages for daily production

Participate in daily Pre-Production Meetings

Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each job
Required Qualifications and Experiences
Education level: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: 1-2 Years of Welding experience
Specific Experience
-
Experience in a production line environment would be considered an asset
-
Experience in a pipe manufacturing plant would be considered an asset
