Responsible for consistently meeting all corporate and plant objectives for safety, quality, productivity, cost and housekeeping. Also responsible for empowering and engaging production associates to make sound and timely decisions as well as resolving problems during production.
The person in this position will provide coaching and direction to crew members.
Presents a positive, professional attitude and communicates information regarding plant procedures and strategies to all involved.
The incumbent will also be cross trained to provide supervisory support to the mill/yard and warehouse operations in addition to the boardline. The timeline for cross training and the rotation schedule will be determined by plant management.
Educational Background : High School Diploma. College degree is preferred.
Experience : Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have interpersonal, training, and coaching skills necessary to foster cooperation/teamwork.
