Responsible for the effective management of the maintenance and operation of a 700,000 tons per year quarry in Milford, UT. Responsibilities include coordination of needed repairs and upgrades, management of employee performance and compliance with all safety, environmental and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of mine management/industry experience
- Possess superior knowledge of, personal commitment to, and a proven attitude towards safety regulations and goals
- Solid understanding of aggregate processing and equipment, plant maintenance and rail loadout systems
- Strong people skills; capable of leading, managing and motivating employees
- Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
