ACI cancels upcoming convention in wake of coronavirus

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) has cancelled its upcoming convention in Chicago in the wake of coronavirus.

ACI says many attendees are facing travel restrictions, making it impossible to host a face to face convention.

The institute is now advising attendees to cancel any travel plans and hotel reservations related to the convention while also investigating alternative methods to carry on the business normally conducted in-person at convention.

To have your registration fee refunded, please email your request to registrar@concrete.org and include your ACI member number and/or convention registration order number, if available, prior to March 27, 2020.

“As the situation progresses and we obtain more answers, we will update you about changes and contingency plans through the ACI website and e-mail,” ACI adds.
