ACI Foundation to highlight equipment at forum in South Carolina

The ACI Foundation’s strategic development council (SDC) is to host a forum highlighting new equipment, materials and applications in Charleston, South Carolina, from 11-13 February.

The Technology Forum 47 will focus on The Science of Seawater-Mixed Cementitious Materials and Handheld Instant Air Meter - Fresh Total Air and Specific Surface in Situ.

As part of the programme, a panel will be moderation by ACI Committee 201 member  Dr. Lawrence Sutter on ‘What the New Durability Code Will Mean to You’. Experts will share knowledge and highlight the code from the perspectives of the owner, designer, contractor and researcher

Other presentations will include Recent Developments and Initiatives from ACI Committee 222 on Corrosion of Metals in Concrete, ACI 562 and Adoptions Establish Expectations for All Parties and Recap of Productivity Workshop for Improved Concrete Contractor Productivity & Project Quality

Prior to the start of the forum, SDC is to host a free workshop on ‘Productivity in Concrete Construction’ on 11 February.
