ACI transitions Chicago convention to Virtual Committee Days

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is to host its transition its convention in Chicago to an online format from 28 March to 2 April following its recent cancellation.

The institute says the ACI Virtual Days Committee will provide the will allow its technical work to move forward. A full list of the nearly 300 currently scheduled virtual committee meetings is available on the ACI website.

Ronald G. Burg, PE, executive vice president at ACI, says: “While we are saddened to have cancelled the ACI Concrete Convention, we are pleased that so many committees remain eager to keep the critical work of the Institute moving forward. Additionally, this virtual format provides the opportunity for greater meeting participation from students, guests, and other interested professionals in the industry who may not have been planning to attend the convention.”
