ASGCO launches diverter plow for bulk handling tasks

October 11, 2018

ASGCO says its new Lift Bed – Diverter Plow improves bulk handling tasks which require separating material into different transfer points of receptacles. The solution’s rugged steel structure makes it suitable for tough mining and aggregates environments, the company adds.

The plow is a pneumatically operated impact bed which lifts the conveyor belt from full trough to zero into a stationary diagonal plow.

According to ASGCO, the solution features two Spring-shoc tensioners which allow the lift bed to apply the proper tension without pinching or damaging the belt.

Aaron Gibbs, president of ASGCO, says: “The diagonal plow discharges material from either side of the conveyor as specified by the customer during design, which makes it suited for any situation.”

ASGCO’s plow can be automated by either the push button or set-up on a timer or PLC system.
