Big management shake-up at Lehigh Hanson

(Allentown, Pennsylvania)  —  Daniel Harrington, President and CEO of Lehigh Hanson Inc., a division of HeidelbergCement, has announced today immediate changes to the managing level of the Company.  The President of the Western Region, Senior VP and CFO as well as the VP Environment, Safety and Health have been instantly dismissed.

Dave Hummel, President, West Region, Tim McHugh, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and James Heaukulani, Vice President, Environment, Safety & Health (ESH) will be replaced by:

Kari Saragusa, previously Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the North Region, has been promoted to President, West Region.

Until the CFO position is filled, John Berry, Mark Conte, Glenn Heller, Lou Kala and Martin Vogt will report directly to Dan Harrington in the interim.

The ESH directors working in the regions, Brent Leclerc, Gary O’Toole, Greg Knapp, Lalit Bhatnager, and Nanda Chinniah will now report directly to the region presidents they currently support. The Corporate Safety and Environmental Affairs functions will report into the Corporate HR and Legal departments respectively.
