CarbonCure to bring technology to Europe, Southeast Asia and Oceania

CarbonCure Technologies has partnered with Linde, an industrial gas supplier, to introduce its turnkey carbon solution for concrete to 25 countries across Europe, Southeast Asia and Oceania.

CarbonCure’s technology injects a dosage of captured waste carbon dioxide (CO2) into concrete during production. Once introduced, the CO2 chemically converts to a nano-mineral that is expected to reduce the concrete’s carbon footprint.

Ulrich Hanke, head of commercial management for primary industries, application technology at Linde, says: “This cooperation will strengthen Linde’s offering for the construction industry.”

Initially, the partners will introduce the technology to Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Singapore.
