CarbonCure says its executive vice president Jennifer Wagner has been named climate trailblazer as part of the Global Climate Action Summit, held in San Francisco.

Wagner was recognised for her efforts leading CarbonCure’s team on its mission to reduce the carbon footprint of the built environment, which include its participation as a finalist in the $20m NRG COSIA Carbon Xprize Challenge.

Rob Niven, CarbonCure’s CEO, says: “Jennifer is the heart and soul of CarbonCure. Her fierce determination coupled with her unwavering passion for sustainability has been a driving force behind CarbonCure’s early commercialization and rapid growth.”

The summit’s 22 climate trailblazers are a set of leaders who set out to tackle climate challenges in areas such as healthy energy systems, inclusive economic growth, sustainable communities, land and ocean stewardship and transformative climate investments.

The Summit includes affiliate events such as the CarbonCure Smart Building Day, Building a New Carbon Economy and the Canadian Cleantech Reception.
