Caterpillar has appointed CEO Jim Umpleby as chairman of its board of directors and has named Dave Calhoun as president director.
Umpleby has been CEO and member of the board since January 2017. Calhoun has served as non-executive chairman since 1 April 2017.
Both moves are effective immediately.
