Caterpillar has been awarded a $663m deal to supply the government with commercial construction equipment.
The five-year deal, announced by the Pentagon, is to supply the US Department of Defense’s Defense Logistics Agency.
The commercial construction equipment from Caterpillar will be going to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, as well as federal civilian agencies.
The Pentagon is expecting to finish its use of the commercial construction equipment from Caterpillar by August 28, 2022.
