Chaney Enterprises appoints chief executive officer

Chaney Enterprises has appointed Francis Hall Chaney III chief executive officer. he will succeed William F. Childs IV, who is retiring after 27 years with the company.

Hall said: “In my new role as CEO, I will continue Chaney Enterprises’ devotion to serving the needs of all of our constituents and our communities. We will look for continuous strategic growth opportunities, while maintaining our core focus on our quality, efficiencies and customers’ needs.”

Hall has worked in a range of positions at Chaney, including project manager, sales and business development, concrete operations manager, executive vice president, before becoming the third generation to lead the company as president in 2016.

Hall said: “In my new role as CEO, I will continue Chaney Enterprises’ devotion to serving the needs of all of our constituents and our communities. We will look for continuous strategic growth opportunities, while maintaining our core focus on our quality, efficiencies and customers’ needs.”

He is also chair of the Maryland Transportation Builders and Materials Association’s education committee, serves on the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association executive committee, a Maryland Ready Mixed Concrete Association board member, serves the Chaney Foundation, and the Maryland Motor Truck Association.
