Cleveland Vibrator to relocate headquarters and manufacturing operations

October 2, 2019

Cleveland Vibrator is to relocate its headquarters and manufacturing operations to a facility with a capacity of 54,000 square feet in the Ohio city.

The company - a provider of industrial vibration solutions - is moving into a space previously occupied by Watt Printing Company at 4544 Hinckley Industrial Parkway. It intends to occupy 37,000 square feet and lease out the remaining space.

Cleveland CEO Craig Macklin says: “We have seen our growth accelerate over the past eight years and we need a larger space to continue serving our customers at the highest level.”

As part of the deal, Cleveland is to invest in new space and may add employees once the move is complete. It also plans to improve truck dock space, rework electric power distribution, install overhead cranes, paint booths and weld fume exhaust system, add new machinery equipment and renovate the office and production areas.

Companies working with Cleveland to guide the project include Manufacturing Advocacy, Growth Network (Magnet), CBRE Realty and CBRE Construction Management, Brouse McDowell LPA, City Architecture and The Snavely Company. Cleveland has received funding approval from the state of Ohio through JobsOhio and the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority.  The City of Cleveland has also committed assistance to the project through the Vacant Property Initiative.
