Truck-school bus crash kills truck driver near Wentzville(St. Louis, MO) A fully loaded concrete truck hit a busload of students Wednesday afternoon on Highway A near Wentzville, killing the truck’s driver and injuring several students.Police said the school bus, which held 42 students from Holt High School and Wentzville Middle School, both in the Wentzville School District, was stopped on eastbound Highway A, waiting to turn left into the Hidden Valley Estates subdivision, when the yellow concrete truck hit the bus, crumpling the right rear corner of the bus. The truck landed on its side and skidded along the highway. The accident occurred about 2:37 p.m. Wednesday.Lt. Kevin Pyatt of the Wentzville Police Department said the driver of the truck has not been identified. The truck belongs to Concrete Resources at 1012 Wilmer Road in Wentzville.Marty Limpert, a spokesman for the St. Charles County Ambulance District, said six students were taken to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, four to St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis, and three to Crossroads Regional Hospital in Wentzville. None of the students appeared to have life-threatening injuries, he said.The bus driver was treated at the scene, Limpert said
