Dodge Concrete plan to reopen Milton, Wisconsin gravel pit

Dodge Concrete, based in Watertown, Wisconsin has teamed up with landowner Scott Traynor to use the aggregate material for the company’s five ready-mixed concrete plants.

Milton Town Board has approved a gravel wash plant using a low-capacity level well and extended the gravel pit’s operation deadline from September 2018 to September 2022.

Nearby residents to the mine are expected to raise objections and plan to revisit a lawsuit against the town of Milton to revoke landowner Scott Traynor’s conditional-use permit issued to him by the town in 2013, a spokesperson for a residents’ group said.
