Driver cited after concrete mixer flips

(Tarrytown)  —  A driver will face at least one summons after his concrete truck flipped over Tuesday morning causing it to leak a small amount of diesel fuel on Lake Terrace, Tarrytown police said.

The driver, John Delgiudice, 47, of the Bronx, was treated for minor injuries at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow.

Hazardous-materials crews, meanwhile, cleaned up the spill.

The crash was reported at 9:46 a.m.

Delgiudice, working for Titan Concrete of Shrub Oak, was backing up from a job site where a foundation was being poured.

The truck rolled off the side of the road.

Lt. William Herguth said Delgiudice faces at least one traffic ticke charging him with driving an uninsured vehicle.
