A cement truck driver was injured when his vehicle rolled over on I-5 in Seattle near Lake City Way. According to a report by Kiro 7: “Officials said the driver was evaluated at the scene and taken to Harborview for treatment of minor injuries.”
The report says the exit was blocked for two hours. Southbound SR 522 to the I-5 express ramp was also closed.
The responding crews said there was a small engine fire and around five to ten gallons of diesel spilled.
Police believe the driver was travelling too fast, the report adds.
