Epiroc is to open a regional service centre in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to support customers in the Northeast on 15 October.
The centre will feature a service shop for mining and construction equipment and will serve as a home base for field service technicians. Epiroc staff will also be available to support customers and provide additional local resources.
Until the centre is fully operational later this year, existing centres will continue to support customers in the region. Some functions will begin to transfer to Harrisburg over the coming months.
Additionally, Epiroc is further investing in the Chambersburg local distribution centre, which is expected to stock an inventory of spare parts by the end of 2019.
