Final rule delay for Examinations of Working Places in Metal and Nonmetal Mines

The Mine Safety and Health Administration will publish a final rule that delays the effective date of the Examinations of Working Places in Metal and Nonmetal Mines final rule (January 23, 2017, 82 FR 7680) from October 2, 2017, to June 2, 2018. MSHA will notify stakeholders when the final rule will be published in the Federal Register and will be available for public viewing at the Office of the Federal Register, Public Inspection Desk.
