Fisher Sand and Gravel wins US border wall contract

December 9, 2019

US senator Kevin Cramer (representing North Dakota) has announced that the US Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a border wall contract to Fisher Sand and Gravel.

“Fisher Industries will receive almost $270 million of this nearly $400 million project, which will go toward designing and building physical barriers along about 31 miles of the southern border in Yuma, Arizona,” said Cramer. “I am glad to see more progress being made to secure the southern border, and I am grateful to see a good North Dakota company like Fisher Industries getting some of the work. I know they will do very well, performing high quality work at a good bargain, all for the security of the people of the United States.”
