Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua (GCC) is set to acquire the Three Forks cement plant in Montana from CRH for $107.5m. The facility comes with a loading capacity of 315,000 metric tonnes.
Through the agreement, CRH will acquire GCC's ready-mix plants and transportation assets in Oklahoma and Arkansas for $118.5m.
GCC will continue operating four ready-mix plants in the Fort Smith, Arkansas, and will lease an office in Oklahoma to CRH.
The purchase and sale amounts are subject to final inventory valuation adjustments, which are expected to be resolved within 90 days.
