Gravel spills ruins 20 cars and injuries 24 citizens outside Washington, DC

Around 20 cars crashed outside Washington DC and at least 24 people were injured when a tractor-trailer spilled its load of gravel and stones across Interstate 270 in Germantown, Montgomery County, Md, outside of Washington D.C – in a report by 6ABC Action News.

The interstate’s lanes were closed as units took victims to hospitals, some of which had severe injuries.

I-270 South was closed for over two hours as the emergency services responded to the incidents. In addition, crews worked to clear the wreckage.
