Hanson Aggregates lawsuit will advance

Hanson Aggregates lawsuit will advance (Rochester, NY) A judge has allowed a lawsuit by families who live near a Honeoye Falls quarry to proceed with their claim that quarry operations have caused their wells to dry up. State Supreme Court Justice Andrew V. Siracuse ruled on Wednesday that the 21 families also can add claims for trespass against Hanson Aggregates quarry and refused to dismiss claims for an injunction against the quarry. Siracuse also allowed new families to join the case, but he dismissed punitive damages and public nuisance claims.
