Heidelberg Cement to use Talga technology

July 14, 2017

Technology materials company Talga Resources is to work with Heidelberg Cement to use Talga’s graphite and graphene based materials in carbon enhanced concrete applications for the building and construction sector.

Mark Thompson, managing director, Talga said: “We are delighted with the opportunity to work with Heidelberg and its engineering and innovation department. Graphene and graphite enhanced cements/concretes create opportunities for conductive, stronger and more sustainable building and construction products.

"A joint test program with the world’s largest concrete aggregate producer... is a great validation of that opportunity. This MOU is a clear demonstration of our commercialisation strategy in action and follows previous industry agreements in the coatings and energy storage sectors.”
