Industry government partnership boosts Canadian clean technology’s reach

CarbonCure Technologies and Central Concrete Supply Co, part of US Concrete welcomed Canada’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, at Central Concrete’s ready-mix plant in San Jose, California, for a demonstration of CarbonCure’s carbon utilization technology.

During the demonstration, both companies addressed "the importance of responding to today’s market needs by taking a leadership position in developing innovative, low carbon solutions, and thereby building a greener and cleaner environment, while acting as catalysts for job growth."

"CarbonCure’s technology ties in perfectly with Canada’s vision of promoting innovative, scalable clean technologies with export potential. The 2017 Canadian federal budget has prioritized the growth of clean technology companies like CarbonCure," the company said in a statement.
