This national forum brings together State and Federal officials along with producers and contractors to discuss the various technical issues regarding aggregates and to point the way for meaningful future research.

Charlie Potts (Heritage Construction Materials) will open the event discussing Aggregates from a Hot Mix Asphalt Producers point of view, followed by David Daniel (President of the University of Texas at Dallas) regarding the Investigation of Levee Performance in New Orleans.Over the course of the event participants will listen to academia from Iowa State University, Michigan Technological University, University of Maryland, University of Wisconsin, University of Texas, University of Illinois and Texas A&M University. The task forces are organized around areas of concern to the industry and are chaired by an expert from within the industry.
