Kraton Performance Polymers will exhibit at the 6th Eurasphalt and Eurobitume Congress from June 1 – 3, at the Prague Congress Centre in the Czech Republic.
Kraton will have two locations showing HiMA, highly modified asphalt, which is used to solve a variety of challenges in asphalt pavements through a combination of rutting resistance and cracking resistance.
Also on show is technology from Arizona Chemical, a Kraton company. Arizona Chemical’s Sylvaroad RP1000 performance additive enables a step change in the amount of recycled asphalt in the paving mix and boosts the performance of these mixes so that they can also be used in surface and binder layers.
Kraton and Arizona Chemical scientists will present technical papers at the congress:
- Paper 116: “Laboratory Evaluation of Emissions from Asphalt Binder and Mixes Using a Bio-Rejuvenating Agent.” Laurent Porot, Arizona Chemical ?Thursday, June 2nd, 2 – 3:30 p.m., North Hall
- Paper 212: “Long Term Performance of a Highly Modified Asphalt Pavement and Application to Perpetual Pavement Design.” Robert Kluttz, Kraton Polymers ?Friday, June 3rd, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., North Hall
- Paper 414: “Laboratory Evaluation of Half Warm Recycling with Bio-Based Additive.”?Laurent Porot, Arizona Chemical?Friday, June 3rd, 9 – 10:30 a.m., Congress Hall
