March 7, 2019

LafargeHolcim has acquired Colorado River Concrete (CRC) as part of a strategy to strengthen its presence in the Dallas/Fort Worth area into part of West Texas.

LafargeHolcim says the addition of CRC expands its operations in the region, including Lattimore Materials in northern Dallas and Tarrant Concrete in Fort Worth, as well as cement manufacturing operations at the Holcim Midlothian cement plant in Midlothian, Texas.

Jay Moreau, CEO of LafargeHolcim’s US aggregates & construction materials business, says: “The Dallas/Fort Worth area has been a dynamic and growing market, and CRC has been a part of that growth. This acquisition enhances our ability to leverage our strengths and efficiencies across this market.”
