LafargeHolcim has acquired Tarrant Concrete in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas. The acquisition follows Lafarge’s Strategy 2022 – Building for Growth initiative to capture opportunities in the concrete and aggregates markets.
Jan Jenisch, CEO of LafargeHolcim, says: “By being highly complementary to our existing business, Tarrant Concrete will allow us to expand our ability to serve customers in a high growth area of Texas.
Tarrant operates three ready-mix concrete plants and supplies solutions to major construction projects. The company is said to have net sales of more than $40m and 90 employees.
