LafargeHolcim (LH) has promoted two executives to the US cement and Aggregates Construction Materials (ACM) teams to help the company achieve its business objectives. These appointments also aim to demonstrate LH’s commitment to investing in its people to ensure a management team prepared for long-term success.
Michael LeMonds is now vice president of land, environment and government affairs for the US. He has been with the company for over 15 years and has served in a range of leadership positions, including business development improvements across Canada and the US. LeMonds holds various leadership positions in the National Ready-Mix Concrete Association, Portland Cement Association and the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association.
Chad Cornwell has been appointed director of ACM aggregate and asphalt performance, where he will oversee performance, geology and mining teams for US ACM. He has held a variety of roles such as project manager as well as director of operations since starting his career with LH as performance manager in 2013.
LeMonds and Cornwell will be based in the US headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
