LafargeHolcim’s UK company Aggregate Industries will deliver asphalt and cement bound works to Highway's England in a bid to modernise and upgrade the highways infrastructure under the Regional Investment Programme. The four-year contract is valued at £500m ($660m).
Highways England operates, maintains and improves roads in the UK. The company awarded Aggregate Industries five of the six Major Regional Lots, under the new Category Management Framework.
