Liebherr has recorded a rise in sales of construction machinery and mining equipment of 14.5% to € 6,182 million as well an increase in turnover in mining segments as well as other product areas.
The company claimed that turnover increased significantly in Western Europe, in which Germany and France both showed strong growth. In Eastern Europe, sale proved to be encouraging while revenues in America, the Far East and Australia were above last year's level. However, the Near and Middle East and Africa recorded a fall.
