Liebherr is starting sales of its new self-service concrete plant for building material suppliers.
The plant, available from this summer, is designed to enable suppliers to extend their range of services to end customers, including supplying them more smoothly and efficiently with different types of concrete.
Liebherr says the plant offers easy access to high-quality concrete.
Due to the adjustable concrete discharge, the concrete can be collected by both small trailers and large truck mixers.
The company says the target group for the plant is particularly the “professional small customer” (gardeners and landscapers, fence construction, stone setters, civil engineering and DIYers).
The end customer can select their individually required quantity of concrete from a range of different concrete and screed types from 0.15m3.
The entire vehicle is positioned under the plant, and the mixing process can be started by QR-code.
Within the next 2 to 3 minutes, the fresh concrete is delivered directly into the trailer or truck mixer.
Liebherr says that the supply of small quantities of 0.15 to 2m3 as well as customer-friendly opening hours, on weekdays and also on Saturdays, can be implemented without any problems due to the high degree of automation of the self-service concrete plant.
The self-service concrete plant is designed in such a way that both containers can be transported with only one truck. This should avoid lengthy authorisation procedures.
The completed plant requires a floor space of around 100m2.
